Q.1.how many types of generation?
ans.Computer generation
1. First generation = 1946 to 1956 .
2. Second generation = 1956 to 1964 .
3. Third generation = 1964 to 1971 .
4. Forth generation = 1971 to present .
5. Fifth generation = presents to future.
q.2. how many types of computer device ?ans..Computer device Computer
device = there are mainly four types of
computer device .
1. input device = by these device we can insert data into computer .
as= key board , mouse, camera, light pen, mike, etc 2. Out put device = by these device we can get the result of input device
.
as= display , printer, speaker etc. 3. Storage device = by these device we
can store the data into the computer .
as = hard disk, pen drive etc . 4.Processing device= these device used to proceed the data to display.as==c.p.u.
Q.3.HOW MANY TYPES OF COMPUTER MEMORY?
Computer memory.
There are mainly two types of computer memory.
1Primary memory
2.secondry memory .
A computer needs memory to store data . It also needs memory to perform arithmetical operations and storing pro-gram and picture .
primary memory is a part of the CPU whereas the secondary memory is external to the CPU. The secondary memory stores the data and keep it even when the electricity to the PC is cut off whereas the primary memory looses its contents immediate.

Primary memory is
volatile memory .
Second memory is non volatile memory .
Primary memory is made up of electronic circuits and keeps data.
As long as voltage supply is on . When power supply to a PC is cut.
Off the data is lost .
Primary memory can be divided into the following two types ;
(a) RAM (random access memory)
(b) ROM (read only memory)
RAM (Random access memory)
RAM stands for random access memory and it is a read /write memory.
Static and Dynamic RAM
There are two important types of RAMs; static RAM and dynamic ram.

Q.4.HOW MANY TYPES OF SOFTWARRE?
ANS-
software
software are categorized into three part.
A.system
software
b. application software
c. Packages
system software is
required to operate the system .
As: window xp windows 7 windows 8 red
heat Linux
application
software this types of software is used to
design any document such as resume ,pay
slip ,bill book .
Package: A
package is a computer application consisting
one or more programs created to perform a particular type of work.
Q.5.HOW MANY TYPES OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE ?
:Programming language
:computer language can be classified into three broad categories.
A.machine language
b.assembly language
c.high level language
ml= a set of instruction codes whether in a binary or in decimal notation which can be directly understood by the computer without the help of a translating program is called machine language.
Al=the instruction words which direct the computer are stored in the machine in numerical form .
Hll=to over come the difficulties associate with assembly language ,high level or procedure oriented languages were developed .high level language permit programmers to describe tasks in a form which is problem oriented rather than computer oriented .the instruction written in a high level language are called “statement s”example of high level languages are “basic .pascal ,fortran cobol .algol,pl/1,prolog,lispada,snobol etc.
